Cheese Sticks
- cheese,cut into thin strips
- large lumpia wrappers,cut into four
- egg white
- oil for deep-fat frying
Wrap each cheese strip in one piece lumpia wrapper, envelope style. Seal with egg white. Chill or freeze until ready for frying. (Note this ensures that the cheese will not spill out of the wrapper while cooking ). Deep-fat fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain well.
